Joint venture with German company DEW21

Biomass have just announced a joint venture with DEW21 in Dortmund, Germany to install and operate a 500kwe gasification CHP on a DEW21 site. This is intended to the the first of may units which will feed heat into the city's extensive district heating systems and renewable energy into the grid. The first plant will be operational in early 2008. Dortmund, a major German city has embarked into a long term plan to push forward development of the city as a leading technology and business location in Europe on a long-term basis.
